What our calculators cannot replace

Public pension entitlements can depend on complete earnings histories, contribution records, residency, employment category and transition rules. Where an exact statutory benefit cannot be calculated reliably from the inputs on the page, the calculator asks you to enter an official or best-available benefit estimate instead of inventing precision.

Who Creates And Reviews The Content

Calculator explanations are prepared and maintained by the site editorial team. Each calculator identifies its formula, limitations, update date and cited references. When an independent reviewer is assigned to a page, the reviewer is named on that page; we do not use anonymous expert claims or invented credentials.

Our Standard

We prefer a transparent estimate with visible assumptions over a precise-looking number that the available inputs cannot support. Primary sources are used for statutory rules, and a correction pathway is provided for reproducible calculation or sourcing errors.
